WAWOS Wear

Ready to Go

We believe that all children should be seen as the dynamic and exceptional beings they are. WAWOS Wear is a truly unique way for a child who uses assistive devices, to express their spirit and individuality. The simple design comes in small, medium and large sizes with five velcro straps to attach easily to different types of walkers.

WAWOS partners with pediatric programs to provide free walker capes to children who use assistive devices. We also donate capes directly to children impacted by a neuromuscular delay.

The goal of this program is to enable children with developmental delays to be seen beyond their diagnosis. We want to give more than just a walker cape. We want to create community, connection and conversation. Ultimately, we want to shift the perception of disability and advocate inclusion.

“The thing I like about the walker cape is that it lets people know about my inside self instead of just seeing my outside self” - Sofia
